This segment of the program was created
in November 1999.
For MP#.Zone we gather various MP3's created by artists Australian
and New Zealand artists. Occasionally we get an email from the
artists themselves letting us know that they have something
cool that we should hear but most times the artists we feature
are those that I stumble across as I muddle my way through the
web.
We play the songs, give out some bio and interesting facts about
the bands (where they are from and whatever miscellaneous dirt
we can dig up about them :-)
We take submissions:
Email them to us (address on homepage) or just let us know where
to find them.
The artists featured on MP#.Zone tend
to be relatively unknown artists from Australia and New Zealand.
The criteria for us to feature them in this segment is that
their music must be freely available on the web in MP3 format
and that we like it.
We are currently sourcing MP3's only
from mp3.com.au
