THE LIVING END will release 'From Here On In', on September 27. The CD is essentially a "best of" with 12 hit singles and two new tracks.

Homebake appears at The Domain, Royal Botanic Gardens, Sydney on Saturday December 4. THE DEVOTED FEW (on Non Zero Records) launches its sophomore album, 'Billboard Noises', on Thursday September 16 at The Annandale Hotel, Sydney. FUNHOUSE '04 marks its debut as an all ages boutique music & arts festival, Saturday October 23 at Victoria Park, Herston, Brisbane. The 2004 NZ Music Awards (aka the Tuis) have been announced. Scribe looks set to be the big winner on the night (September 22nd at the Aotea Centre in Auckland), with 10 nominations. Goldenhorse, Hayley Westenra, Dimmer, Brooke Fraser and Goodshirt also get multiple nods, but the best news has to be the Phoenix Foundations nomination for Best Album - a top achievement for an indie band with a relatively low mainstream profile.
