* Fourth Floor Collapse are embarking on a national tour from February
26 to March 12. This tour is in support of their new single, 'Stories
Unglued'. We don't have their new album 'From the Cold', so we played
something from 'Half Deserted Streets'.
* A Day On The Green - a series of outdoor concert events, staged in
wineries around Australia is aimed to combine a quality musical experience
with fine wine, food and a spectacular outdoor location. On February 13,
Liberation Music will release the first album in a planned series of live
recordings from the shows. The album will feature The Whitlams,
Richard Clapton, Joe Camilleris., Vika and Linda, Renee Geyer,
Ross Wilson, Things of Stone and Wood, The Revelators and Monique
Brumby
* Dimmer (NZ) have a new album out this week. Titled 'You've Got to Hear
the Music,' the album was written in a single month. Guest musicians include
Bic Runga, Anika Moa, Fat Freddy's Drop, SJD, Graeme Downes, Nick Roughan
(The Skeptics) and Submariner.
* Blind are touring Queensland this week.
* The Have (Wanganui, NZ) about to release their debut recording 'The
Have Mini-Album,' on Shock Records in New Zealand. It features the singles
'Right On', 'The Fuzz' and upcoming single 'What You Owe.'
