NEWS:
The first ever Freedom music Festival will launch in Sydney, Melbourne
and Canberra this Thursday November 27, with 70 dance, rock and jazz artists
performing at nine separate concerts to raise the awareness and money
needed to fight against human rights abuses. The organisers hope to raise

Foghorn Media and Marketing have launched a new initiative called "Sounds
Like Cafe." This is a promotion-only CD sampler sent exclusively
to cafes in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Noosa, Gold Coast, NSW North
Coast, Canberra, Adelaide, Hobart and Launceston ( WA and NSW South Coast
still underway). The Cafes have responded strongly, playing tracks from
the artists on the sampler including Bernie Hayes (Half a Cow), Wemo (MGM)
, Butterfly 9 (ABC), Genevieve Maynard (WOW), Stella One Eleven
(WOW), David Lane (Vitamin), Sam Hawksley(Roadshow), Dave McCormack(MGM),
King Curly (HOT), Black Eyed Susans (Shock), Bob Evans (Redline),
De Coda Ring (Hello Cleveland), Entropic (Vitamin) and Wesley Carr (Sony
ATV).
Foghorn is now sourcing tracks for Volume Two to be distributed nationally
in January.
