NEWS:

* A new compilation from Kog Transmissions' house music division, Reliable Recordings, has just hit the shops. 'Sun Valley Sound' features tracks by Subware, SGNY, Reactormusic, Cuffy & Leon D and a few newer faces from around Aotearoa. This disc also has some input from several international artists in collaborative or remix capacities.

* After a 20 year association with Nick Cave, Blixa Bargeld has left The Bad Seeds to concentrate on other creative endevours including an experimental German combo Einstürzende Neubauten. The sad news will not effect the planned tours of the UK and Europe but shows will proceed without Bargeld.

TOURS...tours...

* Fourth Floor Collapse tour will be touring in late March in support of the single 'Sun'.
* You Am I head off on a national tour (March / April) before leaving the country for the UK where they will be doing their own headline shows as well as a tour with The Vines.
* Area 7 head north for the first time in a while to play a charity show on Saturday March 29 @ The Waterloo, Brisbane.
* Gersey and Gelbison are pairing up in April for the Storming The Homeland tour. The tour coincides with the release of Gersey's single 'For Whom Do You Sail?' in stores April 7, taken from the (absolutely awesome) album 'Storms Dressed As Stars'.
* Machine Translations are heading out to tour Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra and Woolongong in April with special guests Disaster Plan.
