Speedstar will be heading out on an east coast tour during the
month of February and they fell into the love theme this week.
"Garage rock golden boys" The Datsun's have a couple
of nominations in the 2003 NME Carling Awards. They are in the running
for Best Live Band and Best New Band at this week's awards.
Christchurch musician Lindon Puffin, former frontman for The Puffins,
has just embarked on an extremely extensive NZ tour. The Really Real Tour,
kicked off with a home town gig last week, will take Lindon and his dog
Fern all the way from the Swamp Palace in Kaitaia down to the South Sea
Hotel on Stewart Island, ending up where it all began at the Dux de Lux
