* New Zealander Music Month of May is just about over but punters in the UK won't be missing out on all the great live music action. This weekend, New Zealanders including
Che Fu and The Krates, Fur Patrol, The D4 and Wai will perform at London
Gigs and on Sunday 2nd June the inaugural Fierce Festival takes place in London's Brockwell Park, featuring a line-up of music and entertainment from South Africa, New Zealand and Australia including aforementioned New Zealand acts alongside the likes of Midnight Oil, Regurgitator, Spiderbait and the Austrailan Pink Floyd.

* Kuybyshev were the featured artist of the Fortnight in Matt Attlee's Australian Music Scrapbook so we featured them as part of our MP#Zone, and MElbourne band the Red Hot Pokerdots dropped us a line and were kind enough to send a bop-a-billy disc our way :)

* The band Frenzal Rhomb and their bass player Lex Feltham have decided to go their separate ways. Lex had wanted to add variety and a different style of music to the band via turn tables and synths but after discussion the band came out against it. Lex was given the option of continuing on with the band, but he has decided to leave and pursue his new found creativeness.
