Hi all, this week we had another contribution from Aaron Anderson as he brings us up to date on the nomiees for the 2001 TUIS awards down in New Zealand. We also had a bunch of music from Australia and some great news about Powderfinger.

The Testeagles, who played their hometown of Adelaide on the weekend with Frenzal Rhomb, Bodyjar and 99 Reasons Why. They are doing the touring thing and will be in your neck of the woods soon. Watch out for 'em.

    Bon Jovi, Grinspoon, Jimmy Barnes, the Mavis's, ZED from NZ will be playing at the Colonial Stadium in Melbourne on Saturday March 24. The show called The Universal Appeal, will raise money for farmers affected by recent flooding.

    "Mascara" getting great reviews and college radio play across the U.S. and Killing Heidi will be back in the U.S. for a tour on May 19. The album is issued there the day after they arrive.

    The latest additions to the line-up for Victoria's Offshore Festival include Adelaide power trio Mark Of Cain (including former Helmet drummer John Stanier), Samoan hip-hop exponent King Kapisi, Sydney's Lo-Tel and Melbourne's Augie March.

"My Happiness" from Powderfinger was the #1 most added single at Modern Rock/Alternative radio in the States last week. At least 60 stations are playing it and Powderfinger have been asked to play the "David Letterman Show" on March 26. The "Odyssey Number Five" album is instore in the US on March 20.
